Add a part

Parts are the things you fit and charge for, like an oil filter or brake pads. Saving a part means its price and VAT rate fill in on invoices.

Steps

1. Open Parts and choose Add part.
2. Enter a Name.
3. Enter the Price (£).
4. Choose the VAT rate.
5. Choose Save part.

Good to know

• Two parts can't have the same name, unless one of them is archived.
• You can also add a part while writing an invoice. Choose Add new part at the bottom of the part list.
• If your garage isn't VAT registered, the VAT rate is ignored on invoices.
