Each vehicle has a page with its details, its MOT and every job you've done on it.
Open it
Open Vehicles and choose the vehicle. You can also choose View vehicle ↗ on a job page, or View ↗ on a customer's page.
The top of the page
The number plate, make and model, then the engine size, fuel and colour, how many jobs it's had, how much has been spent on it, and when it was last in, with a Book a job button.
The Details tab
- Vehicle details: registration, make, model, colour, fuel type, engine size and date first registered.
- MOT: whether it's Valid, Due soon, Expired or Failed, with the expiry date. Unknown with No MOT data means no MOT date has been found yet.
- Tax: tax details aren't available yet, so this shows Unknown.
- Jobs: the most recent jobs on this vehicle. Choose View all jobs to see the rest. Latest mileage is the reading from its last MOT test.
- Brought in by: the customers who've brought this vehicle in.
The Activity tab
A history of the vehicle, including MOT reminders sent about it.
Good to know
- None of the vehicle's details can be changed by hand.
- Spend is taken from invoices, not from estimates.
- If the page says the plate has been transferred, it's a record of the old car. You can't book new jobs on it.
