Edit a service

Change a service's name, its usual duration, its price or its VAT rate.

On the service's page

1. Open Services and choose the service.
2. On the Details tab, change what you need.
3. Choose Save changes in the bar at the bottom.

A quick edit

1. In the Services list, choose the three dots on the service's row, then Edit.
2. Make your change and choose Save service.

Good to know

• A booked job keeps its estimated price, but an invoice you start for that job uses the new price and VAT rate, so check the lines before you issue it. Invoices you've already created keep theirs.
• A new name shows everywhere the service appears, including jobs booked before the change. Invoices keep the wording they were created with.
• The Activity tab shows every change to the name, duration, price and VAT rate, with who made it and when.
• Mechanics can see services but can't change them.
