Managers onlyReopen a closed garage
The owner can reopen a closed garage until the end of the 30th day after closing it. The closed page and the email you got when you closed it both show that date. After that, customers' contact details and notes are removed, along with photos and videos, and the garage stays closed. Issued invoices keep the customer's name and address printed on them.
Steps
- Go to your garage's own web address. Sign in if you're asked to.
- The page says the garage has closed. Choose Reopen garage.
Your jobs, customers, invoices and settings are exactly as you left them.
A paid membership carries on if its billing period hasn't ended yet. If it ended while the garage was closed, you're on Free and need to restart your membership. Choose Upgrade to Premium on the Billing tab to do that.
If you'd cancelled your membership before closing, it stays cancelled. To keep it, choose Resume membership on the Billing tab before its end date.
Good to know
- Only the owner can reopen. That's the account that created the garage. Everyone else sees that the garage has closed, with no button.
- If you belong to more than one garage, the closed one shows a Closed label on the Your Garages page. Choose it to reach the reopen page.
- After 30 days the garage can't be reopened.
