Captions and what the customer can see

Every photo and video is either Visible to the customer or Private to your team. A caption tells the customer what they're looking at.

Change who can see an item

1. Open the job and choose the DVI tab.
2. Choose the Visible or Private label on the item to switch it.

Add a caption

1. Choose the photo or video to open it.
2. Type in Caption. Say what the customer should notice, such as a measurement, wear or damage.
3. Tick or untick Visible to customer.
4. Choose Save.

Find items

Use the buttons above the photos to show All, Photos, Video, Visible to customer or Private.

Good to know

• Only items marked Visible are ever shown to the customer. Private items stay private even after you've sent the link.
• The link you send is live. If you make an item private later, it's gone the next time the customer opens the page. Anything they've already downloaded stays with them.
• You can't open an item or switch it between Visible and Private while it's uploading, or while a video is processing.
• The line above the photos shows how many items there are and how many are visible.
